Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fuzedinn ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, guests, hosts, and users of the Platform.

2. Definitions

  • "Guest" — a person who uses the Platform to search for and book accommodation.
  • "Host" / "Property" — an accommodation provider listed on the Platform.
  • "Platform" — the Fuzedinn website, mobile services, and APIs.
  • "Booking" — a reservation made through the Platform for accommodation at a Property.

3. Our Role

Fuzedinn is an online marketplace that connects guests with properties. We facilitate bookings and process payments on behalf of hosts. The contract for accommodation is directly between you and the host. Fuzedinn acts as an agent and is not a party to the stay agreement. We do not own, operate, or control any property.

4. Guest Obligations

  • Provide accurate and complete information when making a booking.
  • Ensure you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Comply with the host's house rules and policies during your stay.
  • Not use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Keep your guest session credentials confidential.

5. Host Obligations

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information about your property, including pricing, availability, photos, and amenities.
  • Honour all confirmed bookings made through the Platform.
  • Provide a safe and habitable environment for guests.
  • Set and communicate your own cancellation and refund policies.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

6. Booking and Payment

When a guest completes an online booking, the total amount is charged at the time of booking via Flutterwave. Fuzedinn collects payment on behalf of the host and remits the net amount (after commission) following the guest's checkout. All prices are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless otherwise stated. The guest is responsible for any bank or card processing fees charged by their financial institution.

7. Host Fees and Commission

By listing a property on Fuzedinn, you agree to pay a commission on every booking — including walk-in bookings, folio/incidental charges, and online bookings — at the rate displayed in your dashboard settings (default 6%).

7.1 Online bookings

Commission is deducted from the payout before funds are transferred to your bank account. The net amount is disbursed after the guest checks out.

7.2 Walk-in bookings and folio charges

Commission on walk-in bookings and folio/incidental charges is accrued as an unpaid balance on your account. This balance is automatically deducted from your next online booking payout ("swept"). If you have no online bookings, you may pay the balance at any time via the "Pay Now" button in your dashboard, which directs you to a Flutterwave payment page. All accrued commission must be paid on demand.

7.3 Commission bearer

The commission may be borne by the host (deducted from the host's payout) or passed to the guest (added to the booking total), as selected in your dashboard settings. For walk-in bookings, the commission is always borne by the host.

7.4 Non-payment

Fuzedinn reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if accrued commission remains unpaid for 90 days or if you fail to maintain a valid payment method. Outstanding balances may be collected via any lawful means, including deduction from future payouts, invoicing, or referral to a third-party collection agency.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies are set by each hotel and displayed during the booking process. Refunds are processed according to the hotel's policy. Fuzedinn will facilitate refunds for amounts not yet disbursed to the hotel. Once funds have been transferred to the hotel, the refund is at the hotel's discretion. 9. Coupons and Promotions

Coupons are subject to specific terms stated at the time of issue. They may be restricted to certain hotels, minimum spend amounts, or time periods. Coupons have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Fuzedinn reserves the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time.

10. User Content and Reviews

Guests may submit reviews and ratings of hotels. Reviews reflect the opinion of the guest and not that of Fuzedinn. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant Fuzedinn a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the Platform. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our policies or are fraudulent.

11. Limitation of Liability

Fuzedinn is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform or from your stay at a hotel. We do not guarantee the accuracy of hotel listings, photos, or descriptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

12. Intellectual Property

The Fuzedinn name, logo, and website design are proprietary. You may not use them without our written permission. Hotel content (photos, descriptions) remains the property of the respective hotel.

13. Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through amicable negotiation or in the courts of Nigeria.
