Booking information: check-in/out dates, room preferences, special requests, number of guests.
Profile information: nationality, passport details, date of birth, address, next of kin, gender, occupation, company, purpose of stay, vehicle details — collected for hotel check-in and regulatory compliance.
Payment information: Payment card details are processed by Flutterwave; we do not store full card numbers.
Host information: bank account details for payout purposes.

Information collected automatically:

IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited.
Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

3. How We Use Your Information

To process and confirm your bookings.
To communicate booking updates, confirmations, and reminders via email and SMS.
To facilitate guest check-in with hotels by sharing necessary profile information.

4. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

With Hotels: Your name, phone, email, and check-in details are shared with the hotel you book to facilitate your stay. Additional profile information (nationality, ID, etc.) is shared only when required for check-in.
With Payment Processors: Flutterwave processes all payments. We share transaction details necessary to complete the payment.
With Service Providers: We use Resend for transactional emails and Cloudinary for image hosting. These providers have access to only the data needed to perform their functions.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation.
With Your Consent: We may share information for any other purpose with your express consent.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Booking records are retained for regulatory and tax purposes for the period required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us, subject to legal obligations to retain certain records.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption for data in transit, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use essential cookies for authentication (guest session tokens, host login sessions) and functionality. We do not currently use third-party tracking cookies for advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
